* This is a valuable opportunity for new swimmers to become familiar with competitive swimming and learn what to expect when swim practices begin. It's also a chance for our coaches to assess each new swimmer's current skills and training goals so they are assigned to the most appropriate Pre-Competitive or Competitive training group.

 

Don't forget your swimmer's swimsuits and goggles!

* Stop at the Stettler Swim Club information desk in the lobby during Stettler Park and Leisure Services Activity Registration Nights to complete our "Check Us Out" participation forms prior to your swimmers proceeding to coaches on the pool deck.

* After their swim, you and your swimmer can pop back out to us at the desk if you have any questions or need help filling out your swimmer's online Registration Form.

* If your swimmers will be registering to a Competitive group, don’t forget to order training suits through our EQUIPMENT SIZING KIT event in the lobby.

* 2025-2026 returning Stettler Swim Club Competitive swimmers are not required to attend “Check Us Out” events, but are encouraged to attend EQUIPMENT SIZING KIT events to order training suits. Returning Competitive swimmers will begin the season in the same swim group they were practicing with last season. At the discretion of our coaches, swimmer re-assessments will take place during the first week of practice. Any program changes will be communicated as necessary.
